MY BEST FRiENDS WEDDiNG

So, the day finally came for me to head back to Oregon for Taylor's special day! I left on Thursday, the 16th and arrived around noon. It was SO good to see her again, even though I saw her a couple months ago! I really wish we lived closer, it sucked not being with her every day while planning the wedding! Her mom, Terri is awesome, shes always been like my second mom. She helped me coordinate the bridal shower I threw for Taylor and she was a huge help! Planning for an even can be hard when you are in a different state!

Anyway, so many exciting things are happening for Tay and I am extremely happy and excited for her! Her and Jeb just got a house, which by the way is GOREGEOUS! It's brand new and they have the sweetest couch! They are also getting a new puppy named Marley and he is adorable! The first 'little one' of the family, haha...i told her that she better have kids, i need some god children! =)

The wedding itself was amazing, it was outside @ Hollinshead Barn in Bend at three in the afternoon. The weather was beautiful, and it was a gorgeous setting with all the leaves changing colors. I was the maid of honor, and walked with Mitch-the best man and Jebs younger brother. Krista was the other bridesmaid who walked with Ben, Jebs older brother. As soon as everyone got seated for the ceremony, Jeb was no where to be found! All of a sudden, we heard a dirt bike in the distance, and sure enough, it was Jebby-making his grand entrance! It was awesome and so cute! He was wearing a biker jacket and his hair was blowing in the wind as he rode right down the aisle. The ceremony started and it was so beautiful. As soon as Taylor turned the corner with her daddy, Krista and I started bawling our eyes out. I couldn't help it-Tay was stunning. As they exchanged vows, Jeb started crying too, which didn't help! Taylor didnt shed a single tear! haha.
The reception was inside the old barn, and it was decked out in black and lime green, so cute! The food was AMAZING, local food from back home! MMM...there was sushi, won ton, kalua pig, poke, smoked meat and so much more. Taylor, her mom and I danced a hula to E Pili Mai which was gorgeous. I havent danced hula in like 15 years, but i managed to learn it in a day, not too shabby! lol. The cake was incredible and of course, they shoved it in each others faces, haha. We danced the night away and it was a blast. Taylor was very happy with the outcome of everything, which made me and Aunty Terri happy! Jeb and Tay left for their honeymoon and I stayed to help clean up. I was exhausted by the end of the night but it was totally worth it!

I can't believe my best friend is married, that is so wierd! I am so proud of her, though and Jeb is an incredble guy...they are perfect for each other. I need to get out to see them more, and I think Jeb is planning something for her birthday in May which hopefully involves a stop in Utah to see me! That would be way fun! Anyway, the week was a success, and it couldn't have been better!

BEAR LAKE ADVENTURES

The time has come once again to bid summer a farewell. This summer was full of up's and down's and never ending surprises, and all I gotta say is: DAMN! haha. New friends, tattoos, engagements, trips, parties and never ending memories were all included in this past summer of 2008. Getting back into the swing of things with school and all was crazy, and it seemed that I hardly even said goodbye to summer! But this past Labor Day weekend gave me one last chance to do so, and I couldn't be happier.
Nina, Roxanne and the whole [mostly filipino] crew rounded up a huge group of people to rent a sweet house on Bear Lake for 4 days and 3 nights. The house was amazing--Fully furnished 4 stories, tons of beds and pull out sofas to fit everyone! And the girls bathroom tub/shower was to die for! There were two huge pub tables and plenty of room for lounging and partying. A huggeee TV in the downstairs living room, and even a room with game tables including a ping pong (or should I say beer pong) table! =) We were in heaven!
This group is one of my favorites to party with, and they are some of the coolest people I've met here in Utah. This was also a way of everyone in our little 'family' to get together because A.R is leaving in October to join the Armed Forces for 6 years! We are super proud of him! Aeiko and Rox were the organizers that made everything come together, and Ninas mom was of course in charge of the food arrangements. She is the bomb when it comes to that! We had SO much food for the entire weekend, and after we unloaded everything--the boys stopped questioning if we would have enough for everyone! I think there was a final count of 21 people if I'm not mistaken. There might have been a few more after Mark and PJ drove up on Saturday night. Oh, and did I mention that this group knows how to party like no one's business?! LOL. Well, we ended up with a few coolers packed with beer, and 20...yes TWENTY bottles of hard alky! ;) OOHHH YEAH! We had endless drink recipes and threw a couple random ones together. We raged the whole weekend, non-stop. We cooked out, rented jet ski's 2 days in a row, ate yummy shakes, and played crazy games...drinking ones and not. 'Thumper' was introduced to the group by me and Nina and everyone loved it. PJ was wasted by the time we were done because he couldn't remember anyones sign. A hilarious game of drunken Charades was the best, though. Frank is the funniest guy ever, and we have videos to prove it. As soon as I upload the pics and vids, they WILL be posted!
I'm so glad that I had the chance to end summer the right way with some of my favorite people!

BaCkStAgE @ SnOoP

My good friend LT came into town with SNOOP DOGG so i rounded up the girls for a night out. It was so much fun! Kelby, Ira, Stephanie and I got all dressed up and partied VIP style with Snoop and his posse @ USANA ampitheatre. We got 'special guest' passes and got to be on stage for the concert! It was also very entertaining watching the back up 'dancers' parade around in tank tops and booty shorts with the slogan 'DOGGY STYLE' on the butt. HAHA. We eventually discovered that they were strippers from the local strip club, Trails. It was quite the adventure but we loved every minute of it!
